Phoebe Guiot is an accomplished librarian with over seventeen years working in libraries, including nine years in a management capacity. She is a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of successfully leading departments, managing budgets, and promoting collaboration. As a dedicated leader, Phoebe is skilled in managing and directing teams, resolving conflicts, and communicating effectively with others.

Currently serving as Acquisitions Manager for the Los Angeles Public Library, Phoebe oversees the acquisition of all collections, works with staff selectors and vendors, and serves as the point of contact for authors attempting to have their work added to the library's collection.

Throughout her career, Phoebe has consistently demonstrated her commitment to providing exceptional library services to meet the needs of diverse communities. She holds a Master of Library & Information Science degree from San José State University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from California State University, Fullerton. Phoebe is passionate about public service and fostering a supportive and empowering work environment.

When not at the library, Phoebe can be found creating delicious desserts with Executive Pastry Chef and hubby Mr. Guiot and spending time with her loving children.
