Board Member Triston Ezidore was elected to the Culver City School Board on November 8th, 2022 and assumed office on December 13th, 2022 a mere year and a half after graduating from Culver City Unified School District. He currently works as a Youth Employment Manager with the Housing Authority of the City of LA, and has served his community as an Equity Specialist, Legislative Organizer, and committee member on the District’s Equity Advisory Committee, Restorative Practice’s Committee, Positive Behavior and Intervention’s Support Committee, and the Sexual Assault and Misconduct Reform Committee. Board Member Ezidore is honored to represent Culver City Unified’s 10 sites and 7,000+ students - including the high school he graduated from - Culver City High School, along with the Office of Childhood Development, El Marino Language School, El Rincon Elementary, Farragut Elementary, La Ballona Elementary, Linwood E. Howe Elementary, Culver City Middle School, Culver Park High School, Culver City Adult School, and CCUSD iAcademy.


At 19 years old, Board Member Ezidore made history as the youngest elected official in the history of Los Angeles County and the first black male to serve on Culver City Unified Board of Education, bringing a much needed perspective to the district’s leadership. As a recent high school graduate, Board Member Ezidore is a staunch advocate in building a school district in which all students can thrive. He wholeheartedly believes that the people closest to the pain, should be closest to the power, and leads with a deep understanding of the vital safety net our schools provide to thousands of students and families and is committed to advocating for, and building capacity around, the issues of education, labor, women’s reproductive health and political empowerment.

Board Member Ezidore's career has been defined by tackling the hardest problems, building diverse coalitions, and delivering results for his community. His commitment to serving others was shaped by his family and moral values, which instilled in him a strong work ethic and made him a tireless advocate in addressing the complex
problems facing the students in this district.

Board Member Ezidore lives in Culver City with his family and younger brother who currently attends Culver City Schools.
